Dentist Nelson Chuang
With Choice Dental, Nelson has built a practice that offers and delivers a complete range of dental treatment options and care – of the highest quality.
Nelson continues to update his knowledge by attending a number of dental courses each year. He is committed to keeping up to date with the latest dental techniques. He has a special interest in cosmetic, root canal therapy, crowns and bridges as well as general dentistry.
His patients’ comfort, oral health and aesthetics are Nelson’s highest priorities. They really appreciate his pleasant chair side manner – as well as his gentle approach to administering local anaesthetics and performing treatment.
Nelson encourages and supports his staff to actively participate in professional development. With each year, they continue to expand and update their skills, education and training. This group professionalism ensures Choice Dental patients continue to receive the highest standard of dental care.
In his spare time, Nelson enjoys cycling around Brisbane, playing basketball and spending time with his wife and two children.
Dentist Charlie Sung
Charlie has a special interest in cosmetic enhancements, crown/bridge work and orthodontics. He is also an accredited Invisalign provider. He loves seeing patients have straight, beautiful teeth that they are proud to show off. He has completed hundreds of hours of professional development study and continues to do so to further stay up to date to provide the best dental care for his patients. His achievements include:

- Graduate of the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry Orthodontics Programme, held in Sydney

- Past Participant of the Beethoven International Orthodontic Workshop run by world renowned orthodontist, Dr Chris Chang.
Charlie endeavors to help all his patients have a pleasant and comfortable dental experience. He especially enjoys treating nervous patients and building their confidence with each successive visit.
Outside of dentistry, Charlie enjoys spending time with family and friends, backpacking around different countries, and watching movies.
Dentist Shivani Bhri
Shivani takes pride in her proficiency in all aspects of general dentistry along with regularly attending further education courses to advance her knowledge on latest dental procedures. She is a firm believer in the importance of health promotion & education with a particular interest in minimal intervention and preventative dentistry. Keeping treatment simple and relaxed is her approach to dentistry. She can interact in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
When not at work Shivani enjoys being with her family. She likes to travel and enjoys watching movies.

Dentist Ethan Kim
Dr. Ethan grew up in South Korea, and immigrated into Australia in 2009. He acquired his degree from Griffith University in Gold Coast.
Dr. Ethan does all aspect of general dentistry and enjoys his job. He is proud of his work and has a passion for patient care and management. If you have previous dental trauma or are scared of dentists, Dr. Ethan is the right person for you.
Dr. Ethan also has special interest in implant dentistry. He recently accomplished implant CPD(continuous professional development) course with gIDE dental institute run by well-known periodontist in USA, Dr. Sascha A. Jovanovic.
Dr. Ethan offers single implant to multiple implants treatment.
Dentist Shazia Sulemon
Dr Shazia is very passionate about dentistry and understands that for most people, the dentist is not a place where they want to be. She understands that most patients may feel a bit anxious and apprehensive about dental treatment and is dedicated to providing pain-free dentistry in a relaxed and comfortable environment. She is committed to giving you the beautiful and healthy smile you have always wanted.
Dr. Shazia’s passion lies within cosmetic dentistry where she further went to study and completed her Masters in Aesthetic Dentistry(MSc AesDent) at King’s College in London. Within the scope of her studies, she has done a number of research-based projects and provides her patients with evidence-based treatment. She also provides treatment to her patients based on their own desires and goals.
Denture Prosthetist Yuri Park
Yuri is a qualified dental prosthetist, enabling him to retore beautiful, healthy and natural smiles to his patients. He can use his artistic talents and skills to make the patient’s teeth look as natural as possible without compromising function. Yuri enjoys creating and servicing all types of dentures which include full dentures, partial dentures, implant dentures, and denture repairs.
As a member of the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association(ADPA), he regularly attends post graduate education courses to keep up to date with the ever-advancing techniques and technology of a modern treatment options and best results.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Leina, 3 children, family and friends. He enjoys watching latest movies, playing baseball and tennis.
Dr Meifang (Mia) Zhu
BDSc, GradDip dentistry, GradDip implantology, MRACDS, FALSM
Dr Mia Zhu has advanced training in endodontics (A dental subspecialty that focuses on treating dental pain/ infection and saving teeth). She is currently an endodontic resident in Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in endodontics at Griffith University to be a fully qualified endodontist. Besides endodontics, Dr Mia holds Post Graduate Diploma in Implantology and has completed advanced prosthodontic residence program training.
Dr Mia is a member of the Royal Australasia College of Dental Surgeons (MRACDS), the American Association of Endodontics ( AAE), the Australia Society of Endodontics( ASE), Australia Dental Association (ADA) and a Fellow of the Australasia Life Style Medicine ( FALSM).
Hygienist / Dental Therapist Anna Gacek
In her spare time she enjoys reading, the great outdoors and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Oral Health Therapist Tara Windley
As an Oral Health Therapist, Tara is passionate about promoting and maintaining optimal oral health for both children and adults. She aims to not only provide outstanding treatment, but also prevent disease, finding great fulfillment in helping patients achieve healthier smiles and improve their overall well-being. Her dedication drives her to deliver personalized assessments, care and education, making a positive impact on her patients’ lives. Tara also aims to ensure each patient is as comfortable as as possible, even when they have had difficult dental experiences in the past or are feeling anxious.
Tara is available to see all adults and children for routine checkups, cleans and treatments such as fillings, zoom whitening. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and working on artworks.
Practice Manager Lisa Bamford
Outside of work, she enjoys catching up with family and friends. She spends most of her time enjoying her husband and daughters’ company. They enjoying hiking, camping and going on 4WD adventures together.
