What is a BUPA Dental Preferred Provider?
The BUPA members network includes thousands of registered healthcare providers brought together by Bupa. Members First Platinum is BUPA’s premium dental network. Quality healthcare can be costly which is why Bupa pays more back to our members when they visit a Members First provider. In most instances, members will receive higher benefits and have the certainty of knowing how much they’ll get back.
Pay nothing for dental check-ups and professional cleanings with BUPA Preferred
Bupa Members First Platinum cover includes all existing members first benefits as well as a few new features. As an eligible Bupa Members First Platinum member you’ll no longer have to pay an out-of-pocket for your six-monthly dental check-ups and preventative care plus you continue to get 60-100% back on all other dental services determined by your specific insurance policy.
Pay No Out Of Pocket For:
- Oral health assessments and consultations with our dentists (twice a year)
- Professional cleans and Fluorides with our dental Hygienists and dentists (twice a year)
- X-rays and Itero digital decay scanner
- Sports Mouthguards (annually)
*Eligible BUPA Platinum dental patients must have hospital cover combined with extra’s cover that includes dental. Patients are advised to bring their BUPA card to their appointment to claim at each visit. Yearly limits and restrictions apply depending on your selected cover with BUPA. Excludes orthodontics.
Not a platinum member? Don’t despair you will still get a maximum rebate for your treatment every time at Choice Dental.
As a BUPA member with Extras, you will still receive the highest rebates and fixed dental pricing for all dental procedures including services such as dental implants, dentures, or dental crowns. This is simply because we have an ongoing relationship with your health insurance provider ensuring you will receive 60-100% refund on preventative, general dental services up to your policy limit. Unlike non-BUPA affiliated practices, we get higher rebates for our patients, every time.
NO GAP Dental for Kids*
If you have BUPA hospital cover and extra’s cover your children may be entitled to Gap Free Dental at Choice Dental for all their basic dental services, up to your annual limits. This would include:
· Dental check-ups & X-rays
· Professional teeth cleaning, Fluoride
· Fillings, fissure sealants, Mouthguards, and other preventative treatments
Most importantly NO GAP dental is valid until your dependant child’s 25th Birthday

We provide an obligation-free quote before you proceed with any dental treatment. This quote outlays the item numbers and service fees of all the dental procedures required as part of your treatment.
